CUNTU is the 56th in the top-200 best universities in Ukraine
Yesterday, this year’s rating of higher education institutions “Top-200 Ukraine” was published. According to the rating of 2018, the Central Ukrainian National Technical University is ranked 56th and is listed in the top-200 universities of Ukraine. The relevant information is available on the website of the “Euro education” Center.
In compiling this year’s ranking, the experts took into account the current trends in the development of universities as outlined by the IREG-9 Conference: “Ratings and Accreditation – Two Roads to One Goal” (May 23-25, 2018, Hasselt, Belgium) and the Conference of Ministers of Education of the European Higher Education Area (May 24-25, 2018, Paris, France). The work of these conferences will be the main topic of the discussion on the definition of university ratings at the summit held in July this year by the international rating organization Times Higher Education. At these conferences, it was especially highlighted that one of the main trends in university ranking systems is finding a balance between the creation of new, critical knowledge, the results of research and innovation, and the practical transformation of these developments into the development of modern society.
Compared to the last year’s rating, the top three winners of “Top 200 Ukraine” in 2018 have not changed: NTUU KPI named after Igor Sikorsky; KNU named after Taras Shevchenko; KhNU named after V.N. Karazin
The Central Ukrainian National Technical University ranked 56th in the Top 200 Ukraine ranking.
Also, in the first hundred higher educational establishments there is also Donetsk National Medical University (96 place), which also works in the territory of Kirovograd region.
